Effet du sucre sur l'embryogenèse somatique de l'olivier (Olea europaea L.) cv. 'Picholine marocaine' [PDF]

open access: yesBiotechnologie, Agronomie, Société et Environnement, 2008
Effect of sugar on somatic embryogenesis of olive tree (Olea europaea L.) cv ' Moroccan Picholine '. The somatic embryogenesis of the olive tree cv ' Moroccan Picholine ' has been until now very little studied, in spite of its importance for Morocco. Thus,

Thidiazuron-induced shoot organogenesis from mature leaf explants of scented Pelargonium capitatum cultivars [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Shoot organogenesis from mature leaf tissues of two scented Pelargonium capitatum cultivars, ‘Attar of Roses’ and ‘Atomic Snowflake’, grown in the greenhouse, were optimized in the presence of thidiazuron (TDZ).

HMGB2–RAD21 Axis Promotes Fibro/Adipogenic Progenitor Proliferation and Regulates Fat Infiltration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study constructed the first developmental atlas of embryonic skeletal muscle fibro/adipogenic progenitors (FAPs) and identified an HMGB2+ FAPs subpopulation that regulates FAP pool size and muscle homeostasis. HMGB2 directly targets the RAD21 promoter, and its knockout significantly reduces FAP numbers, thereby lowering the potential for ...

Recurrent Somatic Embryogenesis and Plantlet Regeneration in Psidium guajava L.

open access: yesBrazilian Archives of Biology and Technology, 2016
A simple and efficient protocol for recurrent somatic embryogenesis and plant regeneration is one of the prerequisites for genetic improvement of guava. An efficient reproducible regeneration somatic embryogenesis protocol was developed in four genotypes

Somatic Embryogenesis in Cultured Carrot Cells [PDF]

open access: yesDevelopment, Growth & Differentiation, 1986
Somatic embryogenesis in cultured plant cells is an ideal system for investigating the whole process of differentiation and development from single cells to whole plants, and especially the molecular mechanism of expression of totipotency. This review reports recent progress the studies on somatic embryogenesis.

IGF‐1 Deficiency Serves as an Integrated Biomarker Pathogenic Driver and Predictor in Poor Ovarian Response

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IGF‐1 deficiency underlies poor ovarian response (POR), as reduced levels in follicular fluid and granulosa cells impair antral follicle formation and compromise reproductive outcomes. Including IGF‐1 as a biomarker significantly enhances the accuracy of models predicting both PORrisk and pregnancy success.

The strength and timing of the mitochondrial bottleneck in salmon suggests a conserved mechanism in vertebrates [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In most species mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) is inherited maternally in an apparently clonal fashion, although how this is achieved remains uncertain.

PFOS Disrupts Oocyte Maturation and Early Embryonic Development via Ovarian FOXK1 O‐GlcNAcylation in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) exposure disrupts oocyte maturation and early embryonic development. This study elucidates the mechanism by which enhanced O‐GlcNAcylation of FOXK1 underlies the PFOS‐induced reduction of progesterone levels in granulosa cells and the disturbance of follicular microenvironment.

In vitro regeneration of some Iranian alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) genotypes via somatic embryogenesis [PDF]

open access: yesZīst/shināsī-i Giyāhī-i Īrān, 2014
An effective in vitro regeneration system is one of the prerequisites for genetic manipulation of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) varieties and genotypes. In this research, somatic embryogenesis of four alfalfa genotypes, 6-18 (synthetic), 4-14 (Kara Yonje-

Cloning of the Coffea canephora SERK1 promoter and its molecular analysis during the cell-to-embryo transition

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Biotechnology, 2018
Background: Somatic embryogenesis receptor-like kinase 1 (SERK1) is a cell membrane receptor active in different plant tissues and involved in cell differentiation activities including somatic embryogenesis.
