On some topological indices over rectangular grids [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Hyperstructures, 2023
A topological index is a real number related to a graph, which is considered as a structural invariant. Some examples areSombor index, Randi´c index, Zagreb indices, and Harmonic index. In the present paper, we consider the function Ind from the set of all

[Retracted] Degree‐Based Graph Invariants of some Chemical Structures for the Treatment of Corona Virus

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Coronavirus is a family of viruses that cause upper respiratory infections in humans. It has several variants, e.g., SARS and MERS, and now, a new variant has been identified in 2019 which is the novel coronavirus disease 2019. The novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) first appeared in Wuhan, China, and quickly spread throughout the world.

Analysis of Bismuth (III) Iodide and Dendrimers in Drug Applications

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Dendrimers are spherical three‐dimensional molecules with a repetitively branching core. They are normally symmetric around the core. Bismuth (III) iodide has the formula BiI3 and is an inorganic chemical. The reaction between bismuth and iodine produces this gray‐black solid, which was of great interest in qualitative inorganic analysis.

Nirmala and Banhatti‐Sombor Index over Tensor and Cartesian Product of Special Class of Semigroup Graphs

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
The Nirmala and first Banhatti‐Sombor index which is originated from Sombor index is designated by NG=∑uv∈EGdu+dv and BSO1G=∑uv∈EG1/du2+dv2, respectively. In this work, we calculated the Nirmala and Banhatti‐Sombor index over the tensor and Cartesian product of a graph of an algebraic structure by presenting two different algorithms.

Degree‐Based Molecular Descriptors and QSPR Analysis of Breast Cancer Drugs

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
The disease that involves abnormal cell growth and spreads through the surrounding tissues damaging other parts of the body is cancer. Breast cancer is the most common one out of many types. Women are affected by breast cancer either by hormonal changes or genetic changes that occur in DNA.

On general Sombor index

open access: yes, 2021
We present the bounds in terms of other important graph parameters for general Sombor index which generalises both the forgotten index and the Sombor index. We also explore the Nordhaus-Gaddum-type result for the general Sombor index.

On the Sombor characteristic polynomial and Sombor energy of a graph [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
Let G be a simple graph with vertex set V(G)={v1,v2,…,vn}. The Sombor matrix of G, denoted by ASO(G), is defined as the n×n matrix whose (i, j)-entry is d2i+d2j−−−−−−√ if vi and vj are adjacent and 0 for another cases.

Sombor, Nirmala, Dharwad, and F-Sombor Indices – A Comparative Study

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Chemistry, 2023
Let G be a molecular graph, d(u) the degree (number of first neighbors) of its vertex u, and uv its edge connecting the vertices u and v. In the recent literature, four vertex-degree-based molecular structure descriptors have been put forward, named Nirmala, Sombor, Dharwad, and F-Sombor indices, equal to the sum of the terms \( \sqrt{d(u)^k + d(v)^k} \

[Retracted] On Acyclic Structures with Greatest First Gourava Invariant

open access: yesJournal of Chemistry, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Let ξ be a simple connected graph. The first Gourava index of graph ξ is defined as GO1(ξ) = ∑μη∈E(ξ)[d(μ) + d(η) + d(μ)d(η)], where d(μ) indicates the degree of vertex μ. In this paper, we will find the upper bound of GO1(ξ) for trees of given diameter, order, size, and pendent nodes, by using some graph transformations.

E-Banhatti Sombor Indices

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics And Computer Research, 2022
In this paper, we introduce the E-Banhatti Sombor index and the modified E-Banhatti Sombor index and their corresponding exponentials of a graph. Also we compute these newly defined E-Banhatti Sombor indices and their corresponding exponentials for wheel graphs, friendship graphs, tetrameric 1,3-adamantane and honeycomb networks.
