The rise time of a sonic boom shock in air depends strongly on the relaxation processes of nitrogen and oxygen. Stratification of the atmosphere leads to significant variation of the relaxation processes with altitude. J. Kang [Ph.D. thesis, Penn State (1991)] argues that the shock profile can adjust quickly enough to changes in attenuation that it ...

This study demonstrates that somatic PIK3CA mutations suppress PPT1 expression via activation of the PI3K–AKT–c‐JUN axis. This reduction in PPT1 weakens its interaction with P300, thereby increasing palmitoylation at C1176 of P300 and protecting P300 from lysosomal degradation.

Strain‐based modeling and analysis for rock blasting and geomechanics applications
This paper introduces a novel strain‐based modeling approach for blasting and geomechanical applications, using measurable variables like particle velocity, strain, and displacement. By bypassing complex constitutive relations, strain‐based models capture critical blasting trends and full‐blast design parameters with minimal calibration.

An Analogue Memristor Based on Conjugated Porous Polymer Composite for Artificial Synapse
The conjugated porous polymers integrated with boron‐doped carbon dots form a composite for organic memristor in an artificial synapse. The memristor shows analog‐type resistive switching behavior under ultraviolet irradiation, which is attributed to photoinduced redox.
