The reporting and handling of missing data in genetic epidemiological studies of mental health in childhood and adolescence: A systematic review

open access: yesJCPP Advances, Volume 6, Issue 3, September 2026.
Abstract Background Genetic epidemiological analyses of child and adolescent mental health often use data from prospective longitudinal cohorts. Missingness due to selective attrition is therefore an important potential source of bias in such analyses.

Effect of HBr on Explosion Limits of Stoichiometric Hydrogen‐oxygen Mixture

open access: yesInternational Journal of Chemical Kinetics, Volume 58, Issue 9, Page 646-657, September 2026.
ABSTRACT This work, based on numerical simulations, discusses the effect of HBr as an inhibitor on the explosion limit of stoichiometric hydrogen‐oxygen gas mixture in a closed spherical vessel. The numerical simulation solves the complete governing equations for mass, momentum, species and energy.

Self‐Assembled Porphyrin on Biomass‐Derived Activated Carbon as a Simulated Sunlight Photocatalyst for Organic Pollutant Degradation

open access: yesChemistrySelect, Volume 11, Issue 35, 15 September 2026.
This study presents a sustainable photocatalyst formed by self‐assembling tetra(4‐carboxyphenyl) porphyrin (TCPP) on coffee‐husk‐derived activated carbon, which combines high adsorption and visible light photocatalysis to achieve ∼90% Rhodamine B removal, excellent reusability, and waste valorization for eco‐friendly wastewater treatment.

Unraveling Structure‐Dependent Performance of Cu–N–C Molecular Catalysts for Electrocatalytic CO2 Methanation

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 50, 7 September 2026.
Copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) and copper tetraphenylporphyrin (CuPr) both contain Cu–N4 sites, yet CuPc shows superior CO2‐to‐CH4 selectivity. Further analysis suggests that the Pc‐macrocycle tunes the electronic structure of Cu center and induces charge transfer, possibly via its π‐conjugated Pc‐ring and bridge‐N environment.

Influence of heme and pH on the oligomeric states of Brucella melitensis bacterioferritin

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section D, Volume 82, Issue 9, Page 1062-1071, September 2026.
The oligomerization of B. melitensis bacterioferritin (BmBfr) was studied using X‐ray crystallography, size‐exclusion chromatography and thermal shift analysis. These techniques allowed the characterization of both apo and holo BmBfr, highlighting the impact of heme and pH on the oligomerization mechanism.Bacterioferritin from Brucella melitensis ...
