Root‐zone enrichment of particulate and nonparticulate organic carbon and nitrogen under grassland management and woodlands across a soil texture gradient in North Carolina, USA

Particulate organic carbon and nitrogen are sensitive indicators of long‐term management influence on soil organic matter. A unique calculation method separated pedogenic from management contributions by establishing a baseline at 30‐cm depth in each soil profile.
