This study treats both landscape design and soundscape design as similar processes of reproduction and practice. In the process of designing landscape, designers create simple ambiguous shapes not found in previous landscape in both landscape and soundscape design. Landscape designers make stylised shapes to avoid more natural shapes that they dislike.
