Idempotents in representation rings of quivers
For an acyclic quiver Q, we solve the Clebsch-Gordan problem for the projective representations by computing the multiplicity of a given indecomposable projective in the tensor product of two indecomposable projectives.

ABSTRACT Across circumpolar permafrost regions, climate change is destabilizing ice‐rich hillslopes, increasing the frequency and magnitude of thaw‐driven mass wasting. This paper reviews recent studies (2013–2024) on thaw‐driven mass wasting, focusing on the processes, morphology and trajectories of geomorphic change and their implications for ...

N2O fluxes at the soil-atmosphere interface in various ecosystems and the global N2O budget [PDF]
The overall purpose of this research task is to study the effects of soil properties and ecosystem variables on N2O exchanges at the soil-atmosphere interface, and to assess their effects on the globle N2O budget.

Grain filling in relation to monocarpic senescence of wheat in varying source-sink ratios
Flag leaf removal at any stage of grain growth hastened senescence (reduction in chlorophyll content) of the sterile glumes whereas a removal of the latter did not alter senescence of the former. Kernel mass, grain mass per ear, harvest index and sink activity reduced more conspicuously by the removal of glumes than by the flag leaf removal. Removal of

Weeds in a changing climate: Competitors or service plants?
Reducing herbicide use and preparing agroecosystems for climate change are two top priorities on the global policy agenda. Here, we explore whether these two challenges can be tackled simultaneously. While weeds are generally considered a threat to crop production, we show that weeds can help overcome climate change challenges in agroecosystems ...
