Heating source localization in a reduced time

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, 2016
Inverse three-dimensional heat conduction problems devoted to heating source localization are ill posed. Identification can be performed using an iterative regularization method based on the conjugate gradient algorithm.

An L∞ regularisation strategy to the inverse source identification problem for elliptic equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper we utilise new methods of Calculus of Variations in L ∞ to provide a regularisation strategy to the ill-posed inverse problem of identifying the source of a non-homogeneous linear elliptic equation, satisfying Dirichlet data on a domain ...

Nicotinamide N‐methyltransferase promotes drug resistance in lung cancer, as revealed by nascent proteomic profiling

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...

Identifying hedonic models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Economic models for hedonic markets characterize the pricing of bundles of attributes and the demand and supply of these attributes under different assumptions about market structure, preferences and technology.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Identification of source term for the ill-posed Rayleigh–Stokes problem by Tikhonov regularization method

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
In this paper, we study an inverse source problem for the Rayleigh–Stokes problem for a generalized second-grade fluid with a fractional derivative model. The problem is severely ill-posed in the sense of Hadamard. To regularize the unstable solution, we

CDK11 inhibition induces cytoplasmic p21WAF1 splice variant by p53 stabilisation and SF3B1 inactivation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Utilization of a Bayesian probabilistic inferential framework for contamination source identification in river environment

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
In the environmental event of hazardous release into river, quick and accurate identification of the contamination source is important for emergence response. Generally, given a noisy and finite set of monitoring information, determining the source items

Radio Frequency Fingerprint Identification Based on Deep Complex Residual Network

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Radio frequency fingerprint identification is a non-password authentication method based on the physical layer hardware of the communication device. Deep learning methods provide new ideas and techniques for radio frequency fingerprint identification. As

Source Identification of Asymptomatic Spread on Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Identifying the sources of spreading dynamics on networks has drawn extensive attention in recent years, where a variety of epidemic models have been adopted to simulate the propagation dynamics among network nodes, such as the Susceptible-Infectious (SI)
