ABSTRACT The burial mounds of the early Iron Age, which we will refer to below as kurgans, from the nomadic equestrian warriors of Eurasia, form a very complex group of archaeological monuments. The photocatalytic oxidation of gaseous formaldehyde (FA) is explored using potassium hydroxide ‐modified titanium dioxide (TiO2), designated as KT‐x. Its superior performance is confirmed through dynamic clean air delivery rate and space‐time yield. The enhanced FA degradation over KT‐x is attributed to the synergistic effects of oxygen vacancies and ...

On Pansiot Words Avoiding 3-Repetitions [PDF]
The recently confirmed Dejean's conjecture about the threshold between avoidable and unavoidable powers of words gave rise to interesting and challenging problems on the structure and growth of threshold words. Evaluating Transferability of BERT Models on Uralic Languages [PDF]
Transformer-based language models such as BERT have outperformed previous models on a large number of English benchmarks, but their evaluation is often limited to English or a small number of well-resourced languages. In this work, we evaluate monolingual, multilingual, and randomly initialized language models from the BERT family on a variety of ...
