Adaptive Significance of Nickel Hyperaccumulation by Plants
Metal hyperaccumulation may enhance plant fitness through multiple, non‐exclusive mechanisms, including elemental defense against herbivores and pathogens, altered pollinator interactions, and increased reproductive performance in metal‐rich soils. Metals may also affect plant–plant interactions via elemental allelopathy and improve stress tolerance ...

Home Range and Habitat Selection of Chamois: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis
A systematic review of 22 studies reveals a research bias toward the Alpine chamois, leaving other subspecies understudied. Males occupy larger home ranges, and the species consistently selects steep, high‐elevation terrain while avoiding snow‐covered areas and human disturbance.

Characterizing Australian Solar Resource Variability and Solar Droughts With Himawari‐8/9
Abstract Solar energy is central to decarbonization and national energy plans, yet its deployment is limited by gaps in understanding how solar irradiance varies in space and time. We present the first continent‐scale, sub‐daily analysis of solar resource variability using Himawari‐8/9 satellite data for Australia's renewable energy zones.

Abstract Rawinsonde measurements from Central Europe were evaluated to investigate environments associated with lightning. The study compared lightning and non‐lightning profiles, pre‐ and post‐convective profiles, and varying lightning flash rates. In total, 137,501 quality‐controlled measurements from 2006 to 2018 were used, along with 327 convective
