Aflatoxin M1 in milk, in Southern Italy
Mycotoxin Research, 1985A survey on the occurrence of aflatoxin M1 was carried out in the province of Bari (Italy) on a total of 106 samples of raw milk from local farms, commercially heattreated milk, and dried milk. About 72% of the samples were contaminated with aflatoxin M1 within the concentration range 4-280ng/Kg.

Scrapie in sheep in central and southern Italy
Veterinary Research Communications, 1988Seven cases of scrapie were encountered in six flocks of local breeds of sheep in central and southern Italy.
