Recent Advances in Recycling of Copper‐Based Waste Materials: A Critical Review
ABSTRACT Copper plays a crucial role in the civilization of our lives. This review examines the flow of copper from the mining of ores to the end‐of‐life product, with particular emphasis on the recovery and re‐functionalization of copper and copper‐containing wastes. Beginning with the analysis of the global copper market, reserves, supply, and demand,

ABSTRACT Species with disjunct distributions have long puzzled evolutionary biologists and biogeographers. Long‐distance dispersal can play a pivotal role in generating intra‐specific disjunct distributions, initiating early stages of allopatric speciation and leading to eventual interspecific disjunctions.

Where Snow and Forest Meet: A Global Atlas
Abstract The complex interactions between snow cover and forests have implications for ecosystems, water resources and the Earth's climate. However, the geographic distribution of where snow and forest overlap remains poorly known. Here, we evaluate the importance of snowfall over forested environments and its spatial variability at the global scale ...

Recently Intensified Tropical‐Extratropical Linkage Modulated by Arctic Sea Ice Loss
Abstract Through data analysis and numerical simulations, this study reveals the winter Arctic Warming Pattern (AWP), characterized by anticyclonic anomalies over the North Pacific and the Urals, which plays a pivotal role in linking the Arctic and tropics. The AWP is significantly correlated with the tropical Pacific Walker Circulation (PWC).
