Multilevel High-Rate Coding With Twofold Concatenation for IoTs in Wireless Mesh Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Recent studies have shown that wireless mesh networks (WMNs) can be cheap, reliable, and efficient solutions for Internet of Things (IoTs) applications and connected devices.

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF MIMO-SPACE TIME BLOCK CODING WITH DIFFERENT MODULATION TECHNIQUES [PDF]

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Communication Technology, 2012
MIMO Diversity is the technique which takes the advantage of multipath and mitigates the effect of fading and increases signal strength. Space Time Block code (STBC) is used in Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system to improve the performance by ...

Integrated LT Coding, Bit Interleaved Differential Space Time Coding and Sphere Packing Modulation for the Wireless Internet

open access: yes, 2008
In this treatise, a jointly optimized Bit Interleaved Coded Modulation using Iterative Decoding (BICM-ID) and Luby Transform (LT) coding scheme was proposed for the sake of attaining the best possible performance, when communicating over the wireless ...

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Space-Time Block Coding with Beamforming for Triple-Polarized Uniform Linear Array Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2015
Generally, space-time block coding (STBC) and beamforming (BF) gains cannot be obtained simultaneously because the former performs well under a low correlated MIMO channel, and the latter works efficiently in an environment with high correlation. However,

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Censored Distributed Space-Time Coding for Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2007
We consider the application of distributed space-time coding in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). In particular, sensors use a common noncoherent distributed space-time block code (DSTBC) to forward their local decisions to the fusion center (FC) which ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Multilevel Concatenated Space-Time Block Codes

open access: yesIEICE Transactions on Fundamentals of Electronics, Communications and Computer Sciences, 2010
An alternative design for constructing multilevel space-time codes is proposed. For a given space-time block code, we combine several component codes in conjunction with set partitioning of the expanded signal constellation according to the coding gain distance criterion.
