Distributed convolutional-coded differential space-time block coding for cooperative communications

open access: yes, 2010
A low complexity distributed coding scheme is proposed for communications over Rayleigh fading channels. Convolutional Coding (CC) assisted Differential Phase-Shift Keying (DPSK) modulation is employed at the source node for conveying the source signals ...

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Space-Time Coding: an Overview

open access: yesJournal of Communications Software and Systems, 2006
This work provides an overview of the fundamental aspects and of some recent advances in space-time coding (STC). Basic information theoretic results on Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) fading channels, pertaining to capacity, diversity, and to the ...

Dual Relay Selection for Cooperative NOMA With Distributed Space Time Coding

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
We consider a two-user multi-relay cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) network with distributed space-time coding. Two dual-relay selection strategies are proposed for cooperative NOMA, namely, two-stage dual relay selection with fixed ...

Compact Coding Using Multi-Photon Tolerant Quantum Protocols for Quantum Communication

open access: yes, 2016
This paper presents a new encryption scheme called Compact Coding that encodes information in time, phase, and intensity domains, simultaneously. While these approaches have previously been used one at a time, the proposed scheme brings to bear for the ...

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Censored Distributed Space-Time Coding for Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2007
We consider the application of distributed space-time coding in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). In particular, sensors use a common noncoherent distributed space-time block code (DSTBC) to forward their local decisions to the fusion center (FC) which ...

A Digital Grid Model for Complex Time-Varying Environments in Civil Engineering Buildings

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2023
The indoor environment is typically a complex time-varying environment. At present, the problem of indoor modeling is still a hot research topic for scholars at home and abroad. This paper primarily studies indoor time-varying space.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
