Generalization of L-closure spaces

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2005
The concept of closure spaces is generalized to the \(L\)-fuzzy setting. The convergence of nets and ideals, and the properties of continuous generalized order homomorphisms are studied in \(L\)-closure spaces. Operations of \(L\)-closure spaces such as subspaces, sums, product spaces etc. are discussed. Some category properties are considered.

Polynomial Space and Transitive Closure

SIAM Journal on Computing, 1979
A characterization of PSPACE in terms of the regular sets and certain algebraic closure operations is developed. It is shown that NP = PSPACE if and only if NP is closed under a form of the transitive closure operation.

On T0- and T1-fuzzy closure spaces

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2000
Continuing the paper [\textit{R. Srivastava, A. K. Srivastava} and \textit{A. Choubey} [J. Fuzzy Math. 2, No. 3, 525-534 (1994; Zbl 0816.54002)], the authors investigate subspaces, disjoint unions and products of \(T_0\)- and \(T_1\)-fuzzy closure spaces.

Closure spaces and restricted games

Mathematical Methods of Operations Research, 1998
Consider a cooperative game \((N,v)\) with transferable utility, where \(N\) is finite. A game with a cooperation structure is the game \((N,v)\) together with a cooperation structure \( P^* \) which associates with each coalition \(S\subset N,\) a partition \( P^*(S)\) of \(S.\) The author considers the restricted game \((N,v^ {P^*}) \) where \[ v^{ P^

On Quasi-discrete Fuzzy Closure Spaces

Fundamenta Informaticae, 2015
This paper studies quasi-discrete closure spaces and fuzzy closure spaces. We show that any topological closure cT induced by a closure c is the smallest extension from a closure space to a topological closure space in both crisp and fuzzy environment, in addition, a characterization of the continuous mappings in quasi-discrete closure spaces is ...

ON THE FORM OF NEIGHBORHOODS IN CLOSURE SPACES

1984
Some ultra-general topologists contemplate closure operators which may fail idempotence. As in topology, such an operator u determines (and is determined by) a system of neighbourhood filters: this system satisfies the fourth neighbourhood axiom iff \(u=u^ 2\) (idempotence).

Initial L-fuzzy closure spaces

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2003
The author introduces the notion of \(L\)-fuzzy closure spaces as a generalization of already known \([0,1]\)-fuzzy closure spaces. The author presents many interesting results on topological category. The paper is a useful contribution to fuzzy topology.

The closure of Teichmüller space

Journal d'Analyse Mathématique, 1990
An interesting problem in Teichmüller theory is to study the closure of various Teichmüller spaces (roughly spaces of conformal structure of various objects, such as Riemann surfaces, modulo natural equivalences). The reasons are manifold and well known. In this paper the author offers a new characterization of the closure of Bers' model of Teichmüller
