Correlation between crystal structure and magnetism in PLD grown epitaxial films of ε-Fe2O3 on GaN
In the present paper we discuss correlations between crystal structure and magnetic properties of epitaxial ε-Fe2O3 films grown on GaN. The large magnetocrystalline anisotropy and room temperature multiferroic properties of this exotic iron oxide ...

We use scanning nitrogen vacancy magnetometry to directly image the weak in‐plane magnetic moments in mixed phase BiFeO3 at the nanoscale and quantify the local magnetic moments to be 18.8±2.0 μB/nm2 in the rhombohedral‐like phase and 1.5±0.6 μB/nm2 in the well‐known non‐magnetic tetragonal‐like phase.

MXene Wrapped Magnetic Mesocrystals for Durable Redox Catalytic Cancer Therapy and Responsive MRI
Conformal wrapping of ultrathin Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets on Fe3O4 mesocrystals creates topology‐stabilized Schottky junctions that direct photoinduced electron transfer under NIR irradiation. The unique architecture sustains Fenton catalysis, promotes continuous hydroxyl radical production, and provides photo‐responsive MRI contrast.

This work explores the possibility to design stable periodic magnetization textures by transforming a 2D film into a rolled‐up 3D architecture and back. In case of an isotropic exchange‐biased layer architecture, the magnetization encoded in the 3D state evolves into a spin‐spiral pattern with controlled periodicity after unrolling.

Pump-Enhanced Continuous-Wave Magnetometry using Nitrogen-Vacancy Ensembles [PDF]
Ensembles of nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond are a highly promising platform for high-sensitivity magnetometry, whose efficacy is often based on efficiently generating and monitoring magnetic-field dependent infrared fluorescence.

A printed superparamagnetic nanoparticle‐based flux guide enables the realization of a hysteresis‐free three‐axis magnetic sensor. This innovative architecture efficiently redirects out‐of‐plane fields to planar sensing elements, facilitating simultaneous vector detection without complex reset protocols.

Rapid Fabrication of Self‐Propelled and Steerable Magnetic Microcatheters for Precision Medicine
A rapid Joule heating fabrication method for the production of self‐propelling, adaptive microcatheters, with tunable stiffness and integrated microfluidic channels is presented. Demonstrated through three microrobotic designs, including a steerable guiding catheter, an untethered wave‐crawling TubeBot, and a distal‐end propelled microcatheter, it was ...
