Comparison of vector sigma-delta modulation and space-vector PWM

2000 26th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society. IECON 2000. 2000 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Electronics, Control and Instrumentation. 21st Century Technologies and Industrial Opportunities (Cat. No.00CH37141), 2002
The paper introduces certain modifications to the basic idea of vector sigma-delta modulation (VSDM), aimed to eliminate the polarity reversals in the line-line voltages, and to reduce the inverter switching losses. The performance of this modified VSDM is then compared with the space-vector PWM (SVPWM).

A Direct Approach to the Positioning of the Reference Vector for Space Vector Modulation

2005 International Conference on Power Electronics and Drives Systems, 2006
Multilevel converters introduce the possibility of achieving higher power ratings as well as AC voltage quality improvement in the expense of increasing the power circuit and control complexity. Space vector modulation is the preferred PWM technique in three-phase DC/AC multilevel converters.

A Space Vector Modulation Approach for a Multimodule HVDC Converter System

IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 2007
This paper presents the application of a space vector modulation (SVM) strategy for a multimodule converter system that 1) enables low switching frequency, 2) eliminates/minimizes ac-side voltage harmonics, particularly low-order harmonics, and 3) provides maximum ac-side fundamental voltage component. The SVM strategy is based on a sequential sampling

If vector spaces are projective modules then multiple choice holds

MLQ, 2005
Summary: We show that the assertion that every vector space is a projective module implies the axiom of multiple choice and that the reverse implication does not hold in set theory weakened to permit the existence of atoms.

Space Vector Modulated Direct Torque Control for PMSM

2011
It always exists that there are big ripples on flux linkage and electromagnet torque in traditional direct torque control (DTC) system. The implement of space vector modulation (SVM) was researched in-depth. The optimum combination of the fundamental voltage space vector was obtained according to the current expected voltage vector so as to compensate ...
