Four-level SVPWM Strategy of Dual Three-phase Open-winding PMSM Drive
To achieve high power rating and low current harmonics of motor drive, this paper develops a dual three-phase open-winding permanent magnet synchronous motor (DTP-OW-PMSM) drive with the DC-link voltage ratio of 2:1:1.

In this paper, we proposed an open circuit fault diagnosis method based on mixed logical dynamical model. The experiment verified the effectiveness and feasibility of the fault diagnosis algorithm and reduced fault diagnosis time without increasing algorithm complexity. Abstract The T‐type three‐level rectifier has garnered significant attention due to

The study introduces an improved active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) method for a 12S/19P YASA‐AFFSSPM motor, utilising a new interpolation‐based function and linear error feedback to simplify tuning and enhance performance. A hybrid sensorless system combining high‐frequency injection and a sliding mode observer provides precise rotor position

Fault‐Tolerant Scheme for Single‐Switch Open‐Circuit Fault in CSI‐Fed Five‐Phase PMSM
This paper investigates the single‐switch open‐circuit fault and develops a fault‐tolerant control method that reduces torque ripple and winding copper losses. ABSTRACT Due to their inherent capability to provide short‐circuit fault protection, combined with features, such as high torque density and reduced torque ripple, five‐phase permanent magnet ...

ABSTRACT Investigation of power converters for use in industrial drive applications finds that these converters are used low reliable components. To overcome this issue, in this paper, advanced power converters (multi‐pulse AC–DC and multilevel DC–AC converter) are developed and implemented to feed vector‐controlled induction motor drive (VCIMD), which

A five‐level nested neutral point‐clamped inverter topology
A five‐level nested neutral point‐clamped inverter with reduced blocking‐voltage rating is presented. In each of the inverter‐leg, only one, out the eight power switches, has voltage stress of half of the input voltage. The rest of the switches have voltage stress of one‐quarter of the input voltage.

Simplified double switching SVPWM implementation for three-level VSI
A generalised space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) framework for the realisation of all double switching states with a memory-optimised method is proposed to reduce the total harmonic distortion (THD) and to provide neutral point voltage balancing

M3D‐DPWM strategy for three‐phase four‐leg inverter with higher harmonic suppression capability
Three‐phase four‐leg inverters are widely used in power systems due to their inherent ability to handle unbalanced loads. However, with conventional 3D space vector pulse width modulation (3D‐SVPWM), high harmonics of large amplitude exist in the output ...
