Evaluation of Optical Chlorophyll Meters as Proxy for Nitrogen in Theobroma cacao L.
Leaf nitrogen (N) and leaf chlorophyll concentrations are key indicators of a plant’s nutritional status. For many crops, readings from simple optical methods for estimating chlorophyll correlate well with laboratory-based chlorophyll extraction methods.

We derive the likelihood of a raw signal in a single photon avalanche diode (SPAD), given a fixed photon flux. The raw signal comprises timing of detection events, which are nonlinearly related to the flux. Moreover, they are naturally stochastic. We then derive a score function of the signal.

Computational Imaging SPAD Cameras
Vision systems built around conventional image sensors have to read, encode and transmit large quantities of pixel information, a majority of which is redundant. As a result, new computational imaging sensor architectures were developed to preprocess the raw pixel data and reduce the amount of information that needs to be read from the sensor. With the

Rotating Fluorescent Nanodiamond Assemblies With Focused Laguerre–Gaussian Beams
Self‐assembled fluorescent nanodiamond clusters are optically trapped and driven into controlled two‐dimensional rotation with Laguerre–Gaussian beams. With localized optical excitation, optically detected magnetic resonance spectra are collected at defined points along the orbit in a uniform external magnetic field.
