YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Span morphing using the compliant spar
This paper develops and models the Compliant Spar concept that allows the wing span to be varied to provide roll control and enhance the operational performance for a medium altitude long endurance (MALE) UAV.

ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Multiple sclerosis (MS) exhibits racially disparate rates of disease progression. Black people with MS (B‐PwMS) experience a more severe disease course than non‐Hispanic White people with MS (NHW‐PwMS). Here we investigated structural and functional connectivity as well as structure–function decoupling in the ...

Landscape response to tectonic deformation and cyclic climate change since ca. 800 ka in the southern central Andes [PDF]
Theory suggests that the response time of alluvial channel long profiles to perturbations in climate is related to the magnitude of the forcing and the length of the system.

Curvilinear schemes and maximum rank of forms [PDF]
We define the \emph{curvilinear rank} of a degree $d$ form $P$ in $n+1$ variables as the minimum length of a curvilinear scheme, contained in the $d$-th Veronese embedding of $\mathbb{P}^n$, whose span contains the projective class of $P$.

Complementarity of Long‐Reads and Optical Mapping in Parkinson's Disease for Structural Variants
ABSTRACT Objective Long‐read sequencing and optical genome mapping technologies have the ability to detect large and complex structural variants. This has led to the discovery of novel pathogenic variants in neurodegenerative movement disorders. Thus, we aimed to systematically compare the SV detection capabilities of OGM and ONT in Parkinson's disease.

Unit Root Tests: Results from some recent tests applied to select Indian macroeconomic variables [PDF]
Results from newly developed unit roots tests of ERS (1996), PN (1996), NP (2001) and LM (1994) are compared against their traditional counterparts (ADF, PP and KPSS) on select Indian macroeconomic data.

ABSTRACT Objective Considerable efforts have been dedicated to developing effective treatments for post‐stroke executive impairment (PSEI), among which repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) has shown great potential. This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of high‐frequency rTMS on working memory (WM) and response ...

Predicate Center Word Recognition Model Fused with Multiscale Span Features [PDF]
To address the issues of missing span length and multiscale span correlation information in predicate center word recognition models, this study proposes a Chinese predicate center recognition model fused with multiscale span features.
