Conformal Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces: A Cylindrical Geometry Perspective
Cylindrical reconfigurable intelligent surfaces are explored for low‐complexity beam steering using one‐bit meta‐atoms. A multi‐level modeling approach, including optimization‐based synthesis, demonstrates that even minimal hardware can support directive scattering.

5 nm HfO2 memristors exhibit a fully reversible, voltage‐controlled transition between filamentary and interfacial switching within the same device. At high voltages, a filament forms and dominates the conduction, whereas at lower voltages the device reversibly returns to interfacial mode without defect accumulation, implying a new reversible ...

Efficient water electrolysis in NaBr electrolyte is achieved using TiO2 nanotube supports decorated with Ru nanoparticles. A cooperative “job‐sharing” effect between the TiO2 proton‐storage support that provides protons to the Ru catalyst enhances hydrogen evolution, minimizes Ru demand and polarization losses, and delivers stable performance ...

Sparse array 3D ultrasound imaging
Sparse arrays present several notable advantages over other element reduction techniques for 3D ultrasound imaging. One of the most promising benefits is their ability to freely steer the ultrasound beam in all directions, which significantly enlarges the field of view. This capability opens up possibilities for implementing advanced imaging sequences,
