Design and Statistical Analysis of Tapered Coprime and Nested Arrays for the Min Processor

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Coprime and nested arrays are sparse sensor arrays that provide O(MN) degrees of freedom using only O(MN) sensors. The signals sampled by these sparse arrays contain the aliasing artifact; the min processor is used to disambiguate this aliasing artifact.

A super transformed nested array with reduced mutual coupling for direction of arrival estimation of non‐circular signals

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2022
Recently, sparse linear arrays have aroused significant attention because they can provide increased degrees of freedom (DOFs) and enlarged inter‐element spacing, which are the critical factors to improve the accuracy of direction of arrival (DOA ...

Symmetric Sparse Linear Array for Active Imaging [PDF]

open access: yes2018 IEEE 10th Sensor Array and Multichannel Signal Processing Workshop (SAM), 2018
Sparse sensor arrays can achieve significantly more degrees of freedom than the number of elements by leveraging the co-array, a virtual structure that arises from the far field narrowband signal model. Although several sparse array configurations have been developed for passive sensing tasks, less attention has been paid to arrays suitable for active ...

Meniscus Pixel Printing for Contact‐Lens Vision Sensing and Robotic Control

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A visual‐sensing contact lens is enabled by meniscus pixel printing (MPP), which rapidly patterns a 200 µm perovskite photodetector pixel in 1 s without masks, vacuum processing, or bulky equipment. A deep‐learning‐based super‐resolution reconstructs sparse on‐lens signals into 80 × 80 high‐resolution visual information, while AI‐driven eye‐tracking ...

Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...

A Long‐Lived Human Neurovascular PENTA Culture Model Captures Incomplete Vascular Repair and Glia‐Associated Signaling After Traumatic Brain Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A long‐lived, five‐cell‐type human neurovascular (PENTA) model recreates vascular disorganization and incomplete repair after traumatic brain injury (TBI). By integrating endothelial, glial, neuronal, and immune components within a 3D scaffold, the platform enables time‐resolved analysis of neurovascular remodeling and provides a human‐relevant system ...

Low Sidelobe Sparse Concentric Ring Arrays Optimization Using Modified GA

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2015
To minimize the peak sidelobe level (PSLL) of sparse concentric ring arrays, this paper presents an optimization method of grid ring radii of these arrays. The proposed method is based on modified real genetic algorithm (MGA); it makes grid ring radii as
