Management of spasmodic torticollis
Surgical Neurology, 1986Based on a review of the literature, the management of spasmodic torticollis may begin with the conservative measures of pharmacotherapy, sensory feedback, or percutaneous dorsal column stimulation. Approximately 50% of patients will benefit from an adequate trial of these modalities.

Spasmodic torticollis: treatment with Tizanidine
Acta Neurologica Scandinavica, 2009A randomized double-blind cross-over study was performed to compare the efficacy of Tizanidine to that of placebo in the treatment of spasmodic torticollis. No evidence was found that Tizanidine was effective in 10 patients with spasmodic torticollis who received Tizanidine during 6 weeks, up to a dose of 12 mg a day.
