Spatial data interpolation

open access: yes, 2022
Massive data collection has been carried out in both information gathering and decision making in real-time. Due to the nature of the data type (spatial or spatio-temporal), treatment and interpolation become essential steps in this process. In this context, computer systems capable of generating thematic maps are used, through the interpolation of the

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

A choice reaction time analysis of spatial frequency discrimination [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
Simple reaction time to the onset of sinewave gratings was measured as a function of spatial frequency in two observers. These results are compared to the choice reaction time required for the observer to correctly discriminate the spatial frequency of ...

Hyperactive ice‐binding proteins stabilize cell membranes and improve resistance to dehydration stress in Caenorhabditis elegans

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.

Spatial interpolation and disaggregation of multipliers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Most non-survey methods of estimating single-region multipliers have been shown to produce a systematic upward bias, unless a considerable amount of "superior" data is added.

Common Cortical Loci Are Activated during Visuospatial Interpolation and Orientation Discrimination Judgements [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
There is a wealth of literature on the role of short-range interactions between low-level orientation-tuned filters in the perception of discontinuous contours.

Spatial interpolation of dry deposition using EOF models

open access: yesRevista de Matemática: Teoría y Aplicaciones, 2009
Random processes are monitored over space and time by a network of stations distributed across a spatial region. Auxiliary information is often gathered not only at the stations but at other points across the region.

MagmaFlow: A desktop platform for artificial intelligence‐driven expression analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
MagmaFlow is a free, no‐code platform for gene expression analysis. It generates interactive volcano plots, links genes to literature, pathways, and diseases, prioritizes candidates using millions of publications, identifies affected biological processes, builds network diagrams, and exports publication‐ready figures and reports for macOS and Windows ...

Spatial interpolation algorithm for error concealment [PDF]

open access: yes2008 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing, 2008
In this paper, we propose a new spatial interpolation algorithm for intra-frame error concealment. The method aims at interpolating areas in the image, which have been affected by packet loss. We have proposed an edge detection technique to aid the bilinear interpolation.

A new flow chip in combination with multiphoton microscopy as a protocol for longitudinal 3D imaging of tissue calcification under shear stress

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Miniaturized flow chip platform enabling continuous perfusion and longitudinal multiphoton 3D imaging of vascular smooth muscle cell constructs under physiological flow. Brightfield imaging guides region selection, while CellTracker Green and mRuby‐labeled fetuin‐A visualize cells and mineral deposition, respectively. Magnesium supplementation markedly
