Deep Multi-View Spatial-Temporal Network for Taxi Demand Prediction

open access: yes, 2018
Taxi demand prediction is an important building block to enabling intelligent transportation systems in a smart city. An accurate prediction model can help the city pre-allocate resources to meet travel demand and to reduce empty taxis on streets which ...

Multi-Step Processing of Spatial Joins [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
Spatial joins are one of the most important operations for combining spatial objects of several relations. In this paper, spatial join processing is studied in detail for extended spatial objects in twodimensional data space.

Efficient Charge Transport in Zero‐Dimensional Perovskite for Ultrahigh‐Sensitivity X‐Ray Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel mono‐octahedral 0D Bi‐based Dpy3Bi2I12 perovskite strengthens the internal hydrogen bonds and forms a quasi‐2D lattice, exhibits exceptional charge transport and mobility, achieving high X‐ray sensitivity and ultralow‐dose imaging, and setting a new benchmark for 0D detector performance.

Beyond the Edge: Charge‐Transfer Excitons in Organic Donor‐Acceptor Cocrystals

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Complex excitonic landscapes in acene–perfluoroacene cocrystals are unveiled by polarization‐resolved optical spectroscopy and many‐body theory. This systematic study of a prototypical model system for weakly interacting donor–acceptor compounds challenges common views of charge‐transfer excitons, providing a refined conceptual framework for ...

A tulajdonnevek a gyermeki nyelvelsajátításban [Proper names in children’s language acquisition]

open access: yesNévtani Értesítő, 2015
The majority of onomastic research centres around the proper names of adults. Works on general name theory contain a few hypotheses in connection with the acquisition of the first proper names.

Topological relations between spherical spatial regions with holes

open access: yesInternational Journal of Digital Earth, 2020
There is growing interest in globally modelling the entire planet. Although topological relations between spherical simple regions and topological relations between regions with holes in the plane have been investigated, few studies have focused on the ...

The spin-statistics connection in classical field theory

open access: yes, 2006
The spin-statistics connection is obtained for a simple formulation of a classical field theory containing even and odd Grassmann variables. To that end, the construction of irreducible canonical realizations of the rotation group corresponding to ...

Webs of Relationships: Pedagogies of Citizenship and Modalities of Settlement for “Muslims” in Canada

open access: yesLateral, 2019
Immigrants to Canada must pass a set of pedagogical gate-keeping exercises that compel settler socio-spatial relations to allow them to come into the fort of the nation-state as neoliberal multicultural subjects.
