Investigating Spatial Autocorrelation and Spillover Effects in Freeway Crash-Frequency Data [PDF]
This study attempts to investigate spatial autocorrelation and spillover effects in micro traffic safety analysis. To achieve the objective, a Poisson-based count regression with consideration of these spatial effects is proposed for modeling crash frequency on freeway segments.

An evolutionary molecular dynamics platform is used to design P1.6, a membrane‐active peptide that senses lipid packing defects in viral envelopes. P1.6 adopts a stabilized α‐helical structure upon membrane contact, disrupts virus‐like liposomes, and damages HIV‐1 particles.

Beyond univariate measurement of spatial autocorrelation: disaggregated spillover effects for Indonesia [PDF]
Most studies that incorporate spatial effects use a very limited number of spatial variables in the growth model, e.g. growth spillovers or infrastructure impacts of neighbouring regions. This article innovates on previous work in spatial econometrics by differentiating among spatial contributions to economic development; e.g.

Spatial spillover effects of skilled migration on innovation in China
Despite the importance of interregional skilled migration to regional development, few studies have explored its spatial spillover effects and their changes over time. Thus, employing the Spatial Durbin Model, we investigate the presence of regional spillovers of skilled migration at both national and sub-national levels in China.

Various spillover‐mediated electrocatalytic reactions, such as hydrogen and oxygen evolution, carbon dioxide and nitrogen reduction, and methanol oxidization reactions, are systematically summarized. Abstract Spillover phenomenon, which is characterized by the dynamic migration of active species across catalyst surfaces, provides a promising avenue to ...

To tackle low electrocatalytic nitrate reduction to ammonia efficiency in neutral media, this work designs chain‐like dinuclear/trinuclear polyoxometalate‐based metal‐organic complexes. Metal clusters provide nitrate adsorption/activation sites, while polyoxometalates (POMs) drive water dissociation to generate active hydrogen (*H) that migrates to ...
