Evidence of parental care as a newly identified reproductive isolating barrier
Journal of Animal Ecology, EarlyView.Behavioural variation can contribute to reproductive isolation and can be an important driver of speciation. Here, we show that a previously undescribed mechanism, parental care, can function as a postzygotic reproductive isolating barrier when dysregulated in hybrids.
