The spdf IBA Analytical Description of Odd Parity States in the Actinide Region

Annals of Physics, 2000
Abstract An extension of the IBA 1/ Λ asymptotic scheme to the description of odd parity states via the introduction of odd l bosons in the condensate is presented. The new features that are thereby introduced into the system are highlighted and the advantages of using such an approach are discussed.

SPDF: Set Probabilistic Distance Features for Prediction of Population Health Outcomes via Social Media

Communications in Computer and Information Science, 2019
Measurement of population health outcomes is critical to understanding the health status of communities and thus enabling the development of appropriate health-care programmes for the communities. This task acquires the prediction of population health status to be fast and accurate yet scalable to different population sizes.

Simultaneous description of low-lying positive and negative parity states in spd, sdf and spdf interacting boson model

International Journal of Modern Physics E, 2016
In order to investigate negative parity states, it is necessary to consider negative parity-bosons additionally to the usual [Formula: see text]- and [Formula: see text]-bosons. The dipole and octupole degrees of freedom are essential to describe the observed low-lying collective states with negative parity.

Investigation of quantum phase transitions in thespdfinteracting boson model based on dual algebraic structures for the four-level pairing model

Journal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics, 2016
The building blocks of the interacting boson model (IBM) are associated with both s and d bosons for positive parity states. An extension of sd−IBM along these models to spdf−IBM can provide the appropriate framework to describe negative parity states.

Octupole correlations in the transitional actinides and thespdfinteracting boson model

Physical Review C, 2001
The region of light actinides (Z{approx}88,N{approx}134), which is thought to exhibit signs of stable octupole deformation, offers a real challenge for nuclear structure models. We study the even-even Ra-Th nuclei in the framework of the spdf interacting boson model and we find that while the properties of the low-lying states can be understood without

Analytical expressions for electromagnetic transition rates in the SU(3) limit of thespdfinteracting boson model

Physical Review C, 1998
Collective negative parity states are believed to be related to octupole degrees of freedom in the nucleus in the geometrical model @1#. In the algebraic model, their description is the interacting boson model ~IBM! including s, p, d, and f bosons @2‐7#.
