Factors determining the performance of the “right” candidates using Spearman’s RHO [PDF]
Urban-rural digital divide occur in most parts of the world and this phenomenon is common in various states in Malaysia. The Rural ICT Guided Home-based Technopreneur (RiGHT) is a dedicated initiative established with an ultimate aim that is to bridge the urban-rural digital divide in Sarawak, a state in East Malaysia.

Fast and Robust Digital Image Spearman's Rho Correlation for Displacement Measurement
The robustness and computational efficiency of digital image correlation (DIC) are two key influencing factors for displacement field measurement applications. Especially when the speckle images are contaminated by salt-and-pepper noise, it is difficult to obtain reliable measurement results using traditional DIC methods.

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Dicarboxylate‐modified anionic hairy cellulose nanocrystals exhibit a high selectivity for dysprosium(III) over neodymium(III). This selectivity arises from disordered dicarboxylate cellulose “hairs” that enable cooperative ionic coordination, hydrogen bonding, and strain‐induced conformational shrinkage.

Multivariate Spearman's rho for aggregating ranks using copulas
We study the problem of rank aggregation: given a set of ranked lists, we want to form a consensus ranking. Furthermore, we consider the case of extreme lists: i.e., only the rank of the best or worst elements are known. We impute missing ranks by the average value and generalise Spearman's to extreme ranks. Our main contribution is the derivation of
