Two special functions, generalizing the Mittag–Leffler type function, in solutions of integral and differential equations with Riemann–Liouville and kober operators

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2012
Two special functions, concerning Mittag–Leffler type functions, are considered. The first is the modification of generalized Mittag–Leffler type function, introduced by A. A. Kilbas and M. Saigo; the second is the special case of the first one.

Generalized Erdélyi-Kober Fractional Integrals and Images of Special Functions

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
The Riemann-Liuoville fractional integrals are the simplest and most popular operators of the classical fractional calculus. But their variants, the Erdélyi-Kober operators of fractional integration, have many more applications due to the freedom to ...

A representation of Jacobi functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1985
Recently, the continuous Jacobi transform and its inverse are defined and studied in [1] and [2]. In the present work, the transform is used to derive a series representation for the Jacobi functions Pλ(α,β)(x), −½≤α, β≤½, α+β=0, and λ≥−½. The case α=β=0

Certain subclasses of meromorphic harmonic starlike functions

open access: yes, 2008
In a previous paper M.- P. Chen, Z.- R. Wu and Z.- Z. Zou [ M. P. Chen, Z.- R. Wu and Z.- Z. Zou, On functions alpha- starlike with respect to symmetric conjugate points, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 201 ( 1996) 25 - 34] developed a method, using some operators,

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

New inequalities of Hermite-Hadamard type for functions whose second derivatives absolute values are quasi-convex

open access: yes, 2009
In this note we obtain some inequalities of Hermite-Hadamard type for functions whose second derivatives absolute values are quasi-convex.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
