Effects of IGFBP4 deficiency on human preadipocyte proliferation and differentiation through the IGF1R/AKT pathway

IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. Ionomycin suppresses cancer cell growth by disrupting mitochondrial transcription

FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In this study, we identify a new function for the selective Ca2+ ionophore, ionomycin, as an inhibitor of mitochondrial transcription. Both total and nascent RNA analyses revealed that ionomycin treatment reduces the transcription of mitochondrial genes.

Abstract: Indian Mathematician Krishna Kant Sarkar et.al defined a new Menger space called S- Menger space. In the present paper, we are introducing the concept of asymptotically regular maps and sequences in S -Menger space. As an application of these sequences and maps we have proved fixed point results with examples.
