Where Can Aluminum Go When Batteries Die?

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Battery‐derived aluminum is transformed from contaminated waste into an alloying resource for high‐performance Fe‐based alloys. Through controlled Al content and processing, dual‐phase austenite/ferrite microstructures with TRIP‐like behavior are achieved.

Reaction Mechanism, Challenges, and Strategies of High‐Energy‐Density Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Focusing on high‐energy‐density sodium‐ion batteries, this review highlights the advantages offered by conversion‐type cathode materials. The currently studied cathode materials are systematically introduced. By analyzing sulfur, oxygen, and transition metal halides and other conversion‐type cathodes, the key challenges associated with these cathodes ...

Correlated Equilibrium in Games with Incomplete Information [PDF]

open access: yes
We define a notion of correlated equilibrium for games with incomplete information in a general setting with finite players, finite actions, and finite states, which we call Bayes correlated equilibrium.

Can Information Asymmetry Cause Stratification? [PDF]

open access: yes
The empirical literature has found evidence of locational sorting of workers by wage or skill. We show that such sorting can be driven by asymmetric information in the labor market, specifically when firms do not know if a particular worker is of high or

Advancing Energy Materials by In Situ Atomic Scale Methods

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 11, March 18, 2025.
Progress in in situ atomic scale methods leads to an improved understanding of new and advanced energy materials, where a local understanding of complex, inhomogeneous systems or interfaces down to the atomic scale and quantum level is required. Topics from photovoltaics, dissipation losses, phase transitions, and chemical energy conversion are ...
