NIPPON KAGAKU KAISHI, 1991 水ガラス系土質安定剤のゲルから溶出する水溶性ケイ酸塩ならびに有機体炭素(TOC)を定量した結果,硬化剤として用いられた炭酸エチレンはエチレングリコールとしてほぼ100%溶出し,またケイ酸塩成分も浸漬法では仕込量の35～49%,流通法では27%溶出することが明らかになった・これらの値はゲル中に存在する水溶性ケイ酸塩の量の仕込量に対する割合6.1%を大幅に上回っており,ゲルが多量の水と接触することにより化学的分解をうけることが示唆された。

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.
