Evaluation de variétés commerciales de ver à soie et de pratiques d'élevage dans les villages du Nord-Est de la Thaïlande [PDF]

open access: yesTropicultura, 1999
Evaluation of Commercial Silkworm Varieties and Rearing Practices in Villages of North-Eastern Thailand. A silkworm evaluation programme of poly-into-bivoltine and bivoltine hybrid varieties has been undertaken during one year in traditional sericultural

Specializations of Finitely Generated Subgroups of Abelian Varieties [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1989
Given a generic Mordell-Weil group over a function field, we can specialize it down to a number field. It has been known for some time that the resulting homomorphism of groups is injective "infinitely often". We prove that this is in fact true "almost always", in a sense that is quantitatively nearly best possible.

Puns in Alice in Wonderland and their equivalents in Macedonian

open access: yesJournal of Contemporary Philology, 2020
This paper explores the puns in Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, with a special focus on their types, as well as their Macedonian equivalents. Its aim is to discover on which linguistic techniques the puns are based on, and to present the varieties ...

Orbifolds, special varieties and classification theory: an appendix [PDF]

open access: yesAnnales de l'Institut Fourier, 2004
For any compact Kähler manifold X and for any equivalence relation generated by a symmetric binary relation with compact analytic graph in X×X, the existence of a meromorphic quotient is known from Inv. Math. 63 (1981). We give here a simplified and detailed proof of the existence of such quotients, following the approach of that paper. These quotients

GALOIS CONJUGATES OF SPECIAL POINTS AND SPECIAL SUBVARIETIES IN SHIMURA VARIETIES [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Institute of Mathematics of Jussieu, 2019
AbstractLet $S$ be a Shimura variety with reflex field $E$. We prove that the action of $\text{Gal}(\overline{\mathbb{Q}}/E)$ on $S$ maps special points to special points and special subvarieties to special subvarieties. Furthermore, the Galois conjugates of a special point all have the same complexity (as defined in the theory of unlikely ...

The subregular variety to the variety of special lattices

open access: yesJournal of Pure and Applied Algebra, 2011
Let \(k\) be the algebraic closure of a finite field of characteristic \(p\) and let \(\mathcal{O}\) be the \(k\)-points of the Witt vectors and \(K\) the fraction field of \(\mathcal{O}\). Let \(F=\mathcal{O}^n\subset K^n\) be the standard inclusion. A lattice \(L\) as usual will be a free \(\mathcal{O}\)-submodule of rank \(n\) of \(K^n\).

Special subvarieties of Drinfeld modular varieties

open access: yes, 2009
We explore an analogue of the Andr\'e-Oort conjecture for subvarieties of Drinfeld modular varieties. The conjecture states that a subvariety $X$ of a Drinfeld modular variety contains a Zariski-dense set of complex multiplication (CM) points if and only

Integrative Transcriptomic and Metabolomic Analyses of the Mechanism of Anthocyanin Accumulation and Fruit Coloring in Three Blueberry Varieties of Different Colors

open access: yesHorticulturae
Blueberries are recognized worldwide as one of the most important healthy foods due to their anthocyanins, which have special antioxidant properties. They have become a highly produced and valuable fruit crop.
