Electrochemical Performance of Nitrogen‐Doped Carbons: From Fundamental Studies to Practical Pouch Device

open access: yesBattery Energy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Nitrogen‐doped carbide‐derived carbons (N‐CDCs) are promising materials for energy storage due to their tunable structure and chemistry. Here, we design a molecular architecture strategy to promote nitrogen incorporation and microstructural control during the synthesis of N‐CDCs.

Supported Single‐Atom Manganese Catalysts for the Trimerization of Ethylene

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
We explore Mn‐catalyzed ethylene oligomerization via oxidative cyclization. Density functional theory (DFT) predicts Mn/LiTiO₂ exhibits enhanced catalytic performance due to electronic modulation, which experimental validation confirms with higher conversion and hexene selectivity.

Redox Cycling and Restructuring of Silica‐Supported Bismuth Molybdate Catalysts

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
Redox‐induced surface and bulk restructuring of unsupported and silica‐supported α‐bismuth molybdate (Bi2Mo3O12) were analyzed using ex‐situ and in‐situ techniques such as XPS and XAS and supported by DFT calculations. Redox cycling of Bi2Mo3O12 reveals reversible bulk and surface transformations that progressively become irreversible with cycling ...
