Sensitive and Specific Determination of the Equivalence of Absorption Rates
Pharmaceutical Research, 1995To develop a new method for the direct, sensitive evaluation of the equivalence of absorption rates in linear kinetic systems.Concentrations are obtained before the earlier peak. Ratios of concentrations adjusted for the corresponding ratio of AUCs (area under the curve contrasting plasma concentration with time), or their logarithm, are extrapolated ...

Estimation of specific absorption rate with kriging method
2013 USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting (Joint with AP-S Symposium), 2013Summary form only given. The development of wireless technologies sets off new issues regarding exposure of the people to electromagnetic radiation. The non-ionizing dosimetry is focused on the calculation of the dose that can be absorbed by users of a wireless technology. The integration of the variability in the dosimetry is a major issue, especially

Specific absorption rate and tissue temperature in local hyperthermia
International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics, 1986Specific absorption rate (SAR) and tissue temperature were measured for a total of 83 treatments in 33 patients who received local hyperthermia treatment for cancer. The patients were grouped into three categories according to tumor size. Hyperthermia was induced by 13.56 MHz electromagnetic energy applied using capacitive coupling.

Specific absorption rate in humans in vivo at radio frequencies
Bioelectromagnetics, 1987AbstractSpecific absorption rates were measured in three locations of humans exposed in the far field at 160, 350, and 915 MHz. Values obtained for six males are compared with data for a full‐scale homogeneous model of man.

Evaluation and Optimization of the Specific Absorption Rate for Multiantenna Systems
IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2010This paper proposes an effective and efficient technique for the evaluation and optimization of the specific absorption rate for multiantenna wireless systems. This technique is based on a decomposition/superposition procedure with two different measurement scenarios.
