Exploring the landscape of psychological threat: A cartography of threats and threat responses. [PDF]

open access: yesSoc Personal Psychol Compass, 2021
Abstract Over the recent years, research in the field of threat and defense has accumulated evidence on how encounters with various psychological threats influence human behavior, cognition, motivation, affect, and health. Unifying different theoretical threat models, the General Process Model of Threat and Defense claims that different threatening ...

The Low‐Scale Seesaw Solution to the MW$M_W$ and (g−2)μ$(g-2)_\umu$ Anomalies

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 71, Issue 4-5, May 2023., 2023
Abstract The recent CDF‐II measurement of the W‐boson mass shows a strong tension with the corresponding Standard Model prediction. Once active neutrino masses are explained in the context of the Low‐Scale Seesaw mechanisms, this tension can be resolved.

A cross‐sectional study of auditory verbal hallucinations experienced by people with a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder

open access: yesClinical Psychology &Psychotherapy, Volume 29, Issue 2, Page 631-641, March/April 2022., 2022
Abstract Background The presence of auditory verbal hallucinations (AVHs) does not currently feature in the main diagnostic criteria for borderline personality disorder (BPD). However, there is accumulating evidence that a high proportion of BPD patients report longstanding and frequent AVHs which constitute a significant risk factor for suicide plans ...

Studying Same‐Sign Top Pair Production through Top‐Higgs FCNC Interactions at the HL‐LHC

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
We investigate the potential of the HL‐LHC for discovering new physics effects via the same‐sign top pair signatures. We focus on the semileptonic (electron and muon) decay of the top quarks and study the reach for a simplified model approach where top quark flavor changing could occur through a neutral scalar exchange.

Doubly Charged Lepton Search Potential of the FCC‐Based Energy‐Frontier Electron‐Proton Colliders

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
We search for the doubly charged leptons (L−−) predicted in composite models including extended weak isospin multiplets, namely, IW = 1 and IW = 3/2, at the Future Circular Collider‐ (FCC‐) based energy‐frontier electron‐proton colliders with the center‐of‐mass energies of s=3.46 TeV, s=10 TeV, and s=31.6 TeV, respectively.

Flavonstrahlung in the B 3 − L 2 Z′ model at current and future colliders

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
The B 3 − L 2 Z′ model may explain some gross features of the fermion mass spectrum as well as b → sℓℓ anomalies. A TeV-scale physical scalar field associated with gauged U 1 B 3 − L 2 $$ U{(1)}_{B_3-{L}_2} $$ spontaneous symmetry breaking, the flavon ...

Revealing the origin of neutrino masses through the Type II Seesaw mechanism at high-energy muon colliders

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
The future muon collider can play as an ideal machine to search for new physics at high energies. In this work, we study the search potential of the heavy Higgs triplet in the Type II Seesaw mechanism at muon colliders with high collision energy and high

Asymmetric leptoquark pair production at LHC

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We investigate asymmetric leptoquark pair production mechanism at the Large Hadron Collider to advocate its potential relevance to establish reliable constraints on the leptoquark parameter space and its ability to aid in correct identification of these ...

dE/dx from boosted long-lived particles

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
At colliders massive long-lived charged particles could be revealed through their anomalously large ionisation energy loss dE/dx. In this paper we explore a class of scenarios in which the LLPs are particularly boosted, owing to production from the decay

Investigating the Sterile Neutrino Parameters with QLC in 3 + 1 Scenario

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2019, Issue 1, 2019., 2019
In the scenario with four generation quarks and leptons and using a 3 + 1 neutrino model having one sterile and the three standard active neutrinos with a 4 × 4 unitary transformation matrix, UPMNS4, we perform a model‐based analysis using the latest global data and determine bounds on the sterile neutrino parameters i.e., the neutrino mixing angles ...
