On computational heat transfer procedures for heat exchangers in single-phase flow operation
This chapter presents a brief summary and state-of-the-art overview of computational methods in heat transfer equipment, that is, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods for thermal problems and turbulence modeling for single-phase applications in the

On the Inversion of the Specific-Heat Function [PDF]
In this paper we present a method for the inversion of specific heat data to find the vibrational frequency spectrum of a solid. Our results are given in terms of a power series in UJ, the frequency. In this series the coefficients depend on C v (T) and its d~rivatives at T=O. The series thus derived is valid only in an asymptotic sense, but represents

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Heat Stress and feeding strategies in meat-type chickens
Heat stress can induce hyperthermia in poultry. A reduction in heat load can be achieved by increasing the possibilities for dissipation, decreasing the level of heat production or by changing the thermal production pattern within a day.

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...
