Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Image depth estimation assisted by multi-view projection
In recent years, deep learning has significantly advanced the development of image depth estimation algorithms. The depth estimation network with single-view input can only extract features from a single 2D image, often neglecting the information ...

Spectral Analysis Implies Spectral Synthesis
In this paper we show that spectral analysis implies spectral synthesis for arbitrary varieties on locally compact Abelian groups that have no discrete subgroups of an infinite torsion-free rank.

Making Laplacians commute [PDF]
In this paper, we construct multimodal spectral geometry by finding a pair of closest commuting operators (CCO) to a given pair of Laplacians. The CCOs are jointly diagonalizable and hence have the same eigenbasis.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

LOCAL FITS OF SIGNALS WITH ASYMPTOTIC BRANCHES
The method of "asymptotic parabola" fit is described, its analytical properties are discussed in comparison with other types of fits. The method is effective for the (possibly highly asymmetric) signals with practically linear ascending and descending ...

Applying systems-level spectral imaging and analysis to reveal the organelle interactome
The organization of the eukaryotic cell into discrete membrane-bound organelles allows for the separation of incompatible biochemical processes, but the activities of these organelles must be coordinated.

Semiclassical and spectral analysis of oceanic waves
In this work we prove that the shallow water flow, subject to strong wind forcing and linearized around an adequate stationary profile, develops for large times closed trajectories due to the propagation of Rossby waves, while Poincar\'e waves are shown ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Study on defect type in eddy-current testing based on phase spectrum analysis
This article proposes the use of phase angle gradient as a feature to detect and classify different types of defects. Based on the principle of eddy-current testing (ECT), the ECT platform was designed and manufactured.
