Linear Parameter-Varying Spectral Decomposition [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A linear parameter-varying (LPV) spectral decomposition method, based on least-squares estimation and kernel expansions, is developed. Statistical properties of the estimator are analyzed and verified in simulations.

Formation of Quasi‐Decoupling Interface on Li‐Metal Anodes in High Donor Electrolyte

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Li‐metal anode (LMA) is stabilized by introducing Li2Te2 as an electrolyte additive for Li‐metal batteries. Upon contact with Li, Li2Te2 spontaneously converts to Li2Te, which electronically isolates Li from dimethyl sulfoxide due to its large bandgap and minimal Bader charge transfer.

Solvent Co‐Intercalation Enabled Ca Storage in MoS2 for Ca‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Regulating electrolyte solvation levels enables otherwise non‐intercalatable Ca2+ ions to reversibly co‐intercalate into molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) as ether‐solvated species. The intercalation reversibility is strongly governed by solvent chain length, as demonstrated using diethylene glycol dimethyl ether (G2) and tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether (

Hyperspectral and Multispectral Image Fusion via Logarithmic Low-Rank Tensor Ring Decomposition

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Integrating a low-spatial-resolution hyperspectral image with a high-spatial-resolution multispectral image (HR-MSI) is recognized as a valid method for acquiring HR-HSI.

Matrix Methods for Estimating the Coherence Functions from Estimates of the Cross-Spectral Density Matrix

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 1996
It is shown that the usual method for estimating the coherence functions (ordinary, partial, and multiple) for a general multiple-input! multiple-output problem can be expressed as a modified form of Cholesky decomposition of the cross-spectral density ...

Residual‐Lithium‐to‐LiF Conversion Enables a LiF–Fluorinated Carbon Interphase for Reconstruction‐Resistant Ni‐Rich Cathodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fluorine‐rich acrylate monomer (PFHEA) was solvent‐free applied to NCM90 and thermally decomposed under Ar to convert residual lithium into LiF and form a pre‐built LiF/fluorinated amorphous carbon (LiF/FC) interphase. The LiF/FC layer suppresses NiO rock‐salt reconstruction and microcrack propagation, lowers interfacial resistance, and improves Li ...

Slat Noise Prediction using Discontinuous Galerkin Method and Stochastic Turbulent Sound Source

open access: yes, 2010
A promising way to predict airframe noise is the numerical solution of the Acoustic Perturbation Equations (APE) with the help of the Discontinuous Galerkin Method (DGM) and the Fast Random Particle Mesh (FRPM) method.

Titanium Suboxides Responsible for Electronic Anomaly Near Room Temperature in the Ti3C2Tx MXene

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Our multi‐technique study reveals that the near‐room‐temperature anomaly in Ti3C2Tx MXene is linked to titanium suboxide nanodomains, including Ti3O5, embedded within the MXene host. Their temperature‐driven transformation provides an alternative explanation to solvent‐ and swelling‐based models and offers new insight into the thermally activated ...

Adaptive Angle-Doppler Compensation Method for Airborne Bistatic Radar Based on PAST

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2017
The adaptive angle-Doppler compensation method adaptively extracts requisite information based on the data itself, thereby avoiding the problem of performance degradation due to inertial system error.
