Enantiomeric-excess determination based on nonreciprocal-transition-induced spectral-line elimination [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The spontaneous emission spectrum of a multi-level atom or molecule with nonreciprocal transition is investigated. It is shown that the nonreciprocal transition can lead to the elimination of a spectral line in the spontaneous emission spectrum.

Subnanosecond spectral diffusion measurement using photon correlation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Spectral diffusion is a result of random spectral jumps of a narrow line as a result of a fluctuating environment. It is an important issue in spectroscopy, because the observed spectral broadening prevents access to the intrinsic line properties ...

Rapid Scanning of the Spectral Line Profile With [PDF]

open access: yesKirkuk Journal of Science, 2011
The problem of rapid scanning of spectral line profiles with help of Fabry-Perot Interferometer, and to investigate the physical parameters of these profiles is discussed.

A Herschel Space Observatory Spectral Line Survey of Local Luminous Infrared Galaxies from 194 to 671 Microns [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We describe a Herschel Space Observatory 194–671 μm spectroscopic survey of a sample of 121 local luminous infrared galaxies and report the fluxes of the CO J to J–1 rotational transitions for , the [N ii] 205 μm line, the [C i] lines at 609 and 370 μm ...

A new model for the structure of the DACs and SACs regions in the Oe and Be stellar atmospheres [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In this paper we present a new mathematical model for the density regions where a specific spectral line and its SACs/DACs are created in the Oe and Be stellar atmospheres.

Precise measurements of the wavelength in KrCl laser spectral region (222 nm)

open access: yesSemiconductor Physics, Quantum Electronics & Optoelectronics, 2016
The technique for precise measurements of wavelengths in the range around 222 nm (45030 cm–1) has been presented. The reciprocal linear dispersion of the spectrometer was 0.529 Å/mm.

Type II Supernova Spectral Diversity. I. Observations, Sample Characterization, and Spectral Line Evolution [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We present 888 visual-wavelength spectra of 122 nearby type II supernovae (SNe II) obtained between 1986 and 2009, and ranging between 3 and 363 days post-explosion. In this first paper, we outline our observations and data reduction techniques, together

A search for 21 cm HI absorption in AT20G compact radio galaxies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We present results from a search for 21 cm associated HI absorption in a sample of 29 radio sources selected from the Australia Telescope 20 GHz survey. Observations were conducted using the Australia Telescope Compact Array Broadband Backend, with which

Spectral Line Shapes of He I Line 3889 Å

open access: yesAtoms, 2014
Spectral line shapes of neutral helium 3889 Å(23S–33P) transition line are calculated by using several theoretical methods. The electronic contribution to the line broadening is calculated from quantum statistical many-particle theory by using ...
