A study of spectral line identifications in perseid meteor spectra
1961A detailed lisl of spectral line idenlifirations is derived from the study of five Perseid meteor spectra. A total of 229 features are identified in the region from 3680 A to 8710 A. lt is shown that lines of N II, O II, and Sr II are present, and probably also lines of Sr I, Ba I, and Ba II, in addition to lines of other atoms and ions previously ...

Atomic structure calculations and identification of EUV and SXR spectral lines in Sr XXX
Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfer, 2015Abstract We report an extensive theoretical study of atomic data for Sr XXX in a wide range with L-shell electron excitations to the M-shell. We have calculated energy levels, wave-function compositions and lifetimes for lowest 113 fine structure levels and wavelengths of an extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) and soft X-ray (SXR) transitions. We have employed

Spectral line shape identification with continuous wavelet transform
2006A lot of methods that allow analyzing of complex contours are known. In the case of the analytical type of the peak is known the least squares method is usually used. Nevertheless, if the noise level is high enough, LSM method can't be used because of the large distortions of the results.

It was found that the less intense ion peaks of the mass spectra of lower terpenes can play an important role in distinguishing compounds that have similar mass spectra. Two computer programs were developed that generate, from combined gas chromatographic—mass spectra data, F-1 weights (ANOVA) of mass ion peaks between 41 and 300.

On the identification of Fe ix and Ni xi lines from coronal spectral
Solar Physics, 1975Identifications of coronal lines with transitions of Fe ix and Ni xi, as proposed by Wagner and House, and Svensson, Ekberg and Edlen, are checked by means of line intensity ratios, from observations obtained at the 1965 eclipse. All the suggestions of Svensson, Ekberg and Edlen are suitable.

Conventional Speaker Identification (SI) systems utilise spectral features like Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) or Perceptual Linear Prediction (PLP) as a frontend module. Line Spectral pairs Frequencies (LSF) are popular alternative representation of Linear Prediction Coefficients (LPC).

The magneto-optical spectrum of the shallow donors in n-GaAs is studied using a far-infrared laser at photon energies greater than the binding energy of the donors. The transitions from the (1s) ground state into the Landau levels are not observed but, instead, series of transitions from the ground state into donor states associated with the individual

Spectral line shape identification by using fractional derivative spectrometry
2004Before it is difficult to say about a peak shape without conducting additional research. Conventional nonlinear fitting methods based on the OLS approach are unsuitable to unambiguously assign the overlapped peaks. This implies that a composite band can be decomposed into elementary components of a given shape with the same integral reconstruction ...
