Comparison Theorems for Single and Double Splittings of Matrices

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
Some comparison theorems for the spectral radius of double splittings of different matrices under suitable conditions are presented, which are superior to the corresponding results in the recent paper by Miao and Zheng (2009).

Bounds for the Z-eigenpair of general nonnegative tensors

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2016
In this paper, we consider the Z-eigenpair of a tensor. A lower bound and an upper bound for the Z-spectral radius of a weakly symmetric nonnegative irreducible tensor are presented.

In‐Situ Growth of 2D MOFs as a Molecular Sieving Layer on SnS2 Nanoflakes for Realizing Ultraselective H2S Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
The ultraselective H2S detection of the ZIF‐L/SnS2 heterostructure is demonstrated. The introduction of 2‐dimensional (2D) breathable ZIF‐L results in a substantial increase in H2S selectivity attributable to the molecular sieving effect, which impedes the permeation of gases with large kinetic diameters and high polarity.

Extremal Unicyclic Graphs With Minimal Distance Spectral Radius

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory, 2014
The distance spectral radius ρ(G) of a graph G is the largest eigenvalue of the distance matrix D(G). Let U (n,m) be the class of unicyclic graphs of order n with given matching number m (m ≠ 3).

In Situ Formation of a Melt‐Solid Interface Toward Stable Oxygen Reduction in Protonic Ceramic Fuel Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
Protonic ceramic fuel cells offer a promising route to generate power efficiently but face critical challenges in achieving industrially viable activity and stability at their cathodes in CO2‐containing air. This report proposes a new cathode material design strategy to enable the cathode to be both catalytically active and CO2 tolerant through the ...

Deciphering the Origin of Higher Shell Coordination on Single Iron Catalysts for Resilient Modulating Persulfate Oxidation Into Singlet Oxygen Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
This study reveals that higher shell S coordination can effectively modulate the spin state of FeN4 site via long‐range electronic interactions, giving rise to the oriented generation of singlet oxygen from peroxymonosulfate activation. Abstract Precise manipulation of coordination structure of single‐atom sites and establishment of schematic ...

On the distance spectral radius of cacti

open access: yesLinear Algebra and its Applications, 2012
AbstractA cactus is a connected graph in which any two cycles have at most one common vertex. In this article, we determine the unique graph with minimal distance spectral radius in the class of all cacti with n vertices and k cycles. Also, we determine the unique graph with minimal distance spectral radius in the class of all cacti with n vertices and
