The spectral radius and Liapunov's theorem
By combining elementary properties of geometric series with the notion of the spectral radius Lyapunov's theorem is sharpened and extended to linear bounded operators in Hilbert spaces using an identity by Taussky. The article is well written and can be understood selfconsistently.

An Experimental High‐Throughput Approach for the Screening of Hard Magnet Materials
An entire workflow for the high‐throughput characterization and analysis of compositionally graded magnetic films is presented. Characterization protocols, data management tools and data analysis approaches are illustrated with test case Sm(Fe, V)12 based films.

The First Zagreb Index, the Laplacian Spectral Radius, and Some Hamiltonian Properties of Graphs
The first Zagreb index of a graph G is defined as the sum of the squares of the degrees of all the vertices in G. The Laplacian spectral radius of a graph G is defined as the largest eigenvalue of the Laplacian matrix of the graph G.

A distinct semi‐confined inner‐tube chemical vapor deposition geometry enables reproducible, large‐area growth of phase‐pure 2D β′‐In2Se3 from InI + Se precursors. Engineering local vapor transport and optimizing precursor delivery and temperature–time conditions yield uniform continuous films.

Aluminum and nitride coatings are used in industry because they are hard, resist wear, and protect against oxidation. Adding boron can improve friction behavior and other properties. This study tests coatings on surfaces with different finishes. Results show smoother surfaces perform better, while rough ones wear faster, although coatings can reduce ...

A Dislocation Perspective on Strength and Toughness in Ceramics
Dislocations in ceramics enjoy a long but yet under‐appreciated history. The three research waves for dislocations in ceramics highlight the topic evolution over the last 90 years. This review focuses on the impact of dislocation on strength and toughness in ceramics.

The generalized spectral radius and extremal norms
The generalized spectral radius, also known under the name of joint spectral radius, or (after taking logarithms) maximal Lyapunov exponent of a discrete inclusion is examined.

A combined experimental–computational framework identifies energy‐dependent laser absorptivity for NiTi in laser powder‐bed fusion, applicable to conduction and transition modes. Single‐track experiments and thermofluid smoothed particle hydrodynamics simulations are coupled through inverse analysis of melt pool geometry.
