Downward spectral solar irradiance as measured in different depths under sea ice (transmitted irradiance) at ROV station ALERT2018_22_1

open access: yes, 2021
Measurements of transmitted irradiance under sea ice have been performed on First-Year-Ice (FYI) during the ALERT2018 campaign (Multidisciplinary Arctic Program (MAP) - Last Ice) off Alert, Nunavut, Canada in the Lincoln Sea on 22 May 2018. The radiation

Cyclodextrin‐Functionalized Light‐Driven Cu2O Micromotors for Simultaneous Capture and Degradation of Bisphenol A

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Fuel‐free Cu2O‐based micromotors functionalized with β‐cyclodextrin actively remove bisphenol A from water under visible light. The cyclodextrin shell captures BPA and enhances micromotor motility, leading to faster degradation and higher overall removal than nonfunctionalized Cu2O and Cu2O@Au.

Hydrogen (H2) Recovery From Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S): Current Technologies, Challenges, and Future Outlook

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) can be transformed into hydrogen (H2) through several chemical and catalytic processes, offering a promising route for both waste treatment and clean H2 production. This colorless, flammable, and toxic gas is found abundantly in swamps, volcanoes, hot springs, sewages, other natural gas fields, and even in refineries and

Design of a GaInP/GaAs tandem solar cell for maximum daily, monthly, and yearly energy output

open access: yes, 2011
Solar concentrator cells are typically designed for maximum efficiency under the AM1.5d standard spectrum. While this methodology does allow for a direct comparison of cells produced by various laboratories, it does not guarantee maximum daily, monthly ...

Self‐Adaptive Non‐Flammable Wallpaper With Layered Bead‐Network Structure for Light Path Modulation Enabling on‐Demand Building Thermal Management

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A layered bead‐network wallpaper is designed to modulate the light propagation path, overcoming the color residue limitations of thermochromic components for efficient automatic switching between radiative cooling and solar heating modes. The layered bead‐network wallpaper provides passive, all‐season thermal regulation while offering self‐cleaning and
