Spectral Topology on MV-Modules [PDF]

open access: possibleNew Mathematics and Natural Computation, 2015
In this paper, the spectral topology and quasi-spectral topology of proper prime A-ideals in an MV-module are introduced. We show that the spectral topology of proper ⋅-prime ideals of a PMV-algebra with unity for product, is the same as the spectral topology of proper prime ideals in an MV-algebra.

Spectral analysis of Internet topologies

IEEE INFOCOM 2003. Twenty-second Annual Joint Conference of the IEEE Computer and Communications Societies (IEEE Cat. No.03CH37428), 2004
Spectral analysis of the Internet topology at the autonomous system (AS) level, by adapting the standard spectral filtering method of examining the eigenvectors corresponding to the largest eigenvalues of matrices related to the adjacency matrix of the topology is performed.

Topology-Based Spectral Sparsification

2019 IEEE 9th Symposium on Large Data Analysis and Visualization (LDAV), 2019
Graph sampling is often used to reduce a large graph, with challenges to ensure the sample is representative of the original graph. Spectral sparsification is a related concept that creates a sparsified version of graphs that preserves the spectrum of the original graph. We present TSS, a sampling method combining spectral sparsification with topology ...

Spectral Reflections of Topological Spaces

Applied Categorical Structures, 2017
This paper deals with the relationship between the category \(\mathsf{Top}\) of topological spaces and continuous maps and its reflective subcategory \(\mathsf{Spec}\) of spectral spaces and spectral maps. Specifically, it addresses the following question(s): Let \(\mathbf{L} : \mathsf{Top} \to \mathsf{Spec}\) be the (spectral) reflector and \(\mathbf ...
