Spectral analysis of Internet topology graphs
Proceedings of 2010 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2010The discovery of power-laws and spectral properties of the Internet topology indicates a complex underlying network infrastructure. Analysis of spectral properties of the Internet topology has been usually based on the normalized Laplacian matrix of graphs capturing Internet structure on the Autonomous System (AS) level.

Spectral Analysis of Networks with Random Topologies
SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, 1977A class of neural models is introduced in which the topology of the neural network has been generated by a controlled probability model. It is shown that the resulting linear operator has a spectral measure that converges in probability to a universal one when the size of the net tends to infinity: a law of large numbers for the spectra of such ...

ABSTRACT:Given a poset (X; ≤), any spectral topology with specialisation order ≤ lies between the upper topology and the Scott topology. Conditions are given under which these extreme topologies are indeed spectral. The results contribute to the understanding ofspeectral sets, that is, posets which arise as the prime ideals of commutative rings with 1,

Network Topology Inference from Spectral Templates
We address the problem of identifying a graph structure from the observation of signals defined on its nodes. Fundamentally, the unknown graph encodes direct relationships between signal elements, which we aim to recover from observable indirect relationships generated by a diffusion process on the graph.

A Spectral Gap-Based Topology Control Algorithm for Wireless Backhaul Networks
This paper presents the spectral gap-based topology control algorithm (SGTC) for wireless backhaul networks, a novel approach that employs the Laplacian Spectral Gap (LSG) to find expander-like graphs that optimize the topology of the network in terms of

Topological mapping using spectral clustering and classification
2007 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems, 2007In this work we present an online method for generating topological maps from raw sensor information. We first describe an algorithm to automatically decompose a map into submap segments using a graph partitioning technique known as spectral clustering.

Strict topologies and spectral measures
Quaestiones Mathematicae, 2019Let X be a completely regular Hausdorff space. Then the space of all bounded continuous complex functions on X, equipped with the natural strict topology β is a locally convex algebra with the joint...
