Potential dependent spectroelectrochemistry of electrofluorogenic dyes on indium‐tin oxide
Indium‐tin oxide (ITO) is used in a variety of applications due to its electrical conductivity and optical transparency. Moreover, ITO‐coated glass is a common working electrode for spectroelectrochemistry.

Spectroelectrochemical Enzyme Sensor System for Acetaldehyde Detection in Wine
A new spectroelectrochemical two-enzyme sensor system has been developed for the detection of acetaldehyde in wine. A combination of spectroscopy and electrochemistry improves the analytical features of the electrochemical sensor because the optical ...

Two series of self‐doped conjugated polyelectrolytes are synthesized from a non‐self‐dopable building block 3MEEET and a self‐dopable building‐block 3HOT−[TMA+] or 3HOT−[SO3H] enabling precise control over the degree of self‐doping, which in turn directly governs the threshold voltage (VT) in OECTs over a wide range of 700 mV.

Tetraruthenium Metallamacrocycles with Potentially Coordinating Appended Functionalities
We present four new tetraruthenium macrocycles built from two 1,4-divinylphenylene diruthenium and two isophthalic acid building blocks with peripheral, potentially mono- or tridentate donor functions attached to the isophthalic linkers.

Mechanistic Diversity in Photoexcited Radical Redox Chemistry: A Critical Evaluation
Many high‐profile examples of photoredox catalysis are proposed to proceed via excitation of an open‐shell intermediate form of the catalyst. However, there is much debate over whether such mechanisms are realistic and, if so, exactly how they can occur.

Reducing a nitro‐derivatized arylimido‐polyoxometalate (POM) reversibly switches on its second‐order NLO response, contrasting with prior donor‐functionalized systems that switch off upon reduction. Attenuation of charge‐transfer (CT) to the POM upon reduction gives a more strongly dipolar imido/π‐bridge to ─NO2 CT, signal enhancement of up to 15× (β ...
