Particle-induced x-ray emission spectrometry of size-fractionated atmospheric aerosols [PDF]
Atmospheric aerosol samples were collected with a stacked filter unit (SFU), which separates the aerosol into a coarse (2-10 µm aerodynamic diameter (AD)) and a fine (< 2 µm AD) size fraction. The samples were analysed by particle-induced x-ray emission (PIXE) spectrometry.

Magnetic Control of Chiral Hybridized Phonon Magnetic Moments in Ferrimagnets Fe2‐xZnxMo3O8
Helicity‐resolved magneto‐Raman spectroscopy reveals magnetic control of chiral phonon magnetic moments in polar ferrimagnet (ZnxFe2−xMo3O₈). Large spontaneous zero‐field phonon splittings, selective phonon–magnon coupling, and asymmetric Zeeman responses demonstrate that phonon chirality is governed by magnon‐phonon coupling and magnetization.

DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.
