Spectrophotometric Determination of Protein Concentration
Current Protocols in Food Analytical Chemistry, 2002AbstractThis unit describes spectrophotometric and colorimetric methods for measuring the concentration of a sample protein in solution. Absorbance measured at 280 nm (A280) is used to calculate protein concentration by comparison with a standard curve or published absorptivity values for that protein (a280).

Improved Spectrophotometric Determination of Antazoline
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1978A simple, precise, and accurate spectrophotometric determination of antazoline salts was developed by improving the ceric sulfate procedure. Replacement of water with acetic acid for the preparation of all assay solutions permitted reproducible measurements of the chromogen that absorbed at 505 nm.
